This web site provides services to our customers, the users should agree to comply with and be bound by the terms and conditions of use when using the web site. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully, and check them periodically as there may be changes. If the user does not agree to the terms and conditions, the user should not use the website by reviewing information, purchasing, requesting any services from this web site.

In this terms and conditions, “the company” means qieyi.mu, “customer”, “user”, “his”, “her” means the person books an accommodation, an air ticket, an activity, a tour, or other services includes also all bookings made for one or more persons and includes all the persons travelling with the user. The person who does the booking should be the leading contact for the group and that therefore all correspondence and conversations in respect of arrangements for yourself and all members of the group should be between the person who does the booking and the company.

These terms and conditions shall form the basis of the agreement between the user and the company and shall apply to the exclusion of any other terms and conditions whether put forward by the user or a third party or whether implied by law or statute. No alteration to these terms and conditions shall be effective unless expressly agreed to in writing by a director of Qieyi.mu.

Limited Right to Use. The user is entitle to view, print or download content, graphic, form and document from the website but only in a limited, nonexclusive condition for the user’s own personal use and not for republication, distribution, assignment, sublicense, sale, preparation of derivative works or other use. None of any content, graphic, form or document should be reproduced in any way or inserted into any information retrieval system, electronic or mechanical, other than for the user’s personal use, not commercial use.

Copyright. The content, graphics, from, design, and all other materials on the website are protected under applicable laws, copyrights, trademarks, and other proprietary (including but not limited to intellectual property) rights. It is strictly prohibited for the user to copy, redistribute, use or publish any such materials or any part of the website. The user does not have ownership rights to any content, document or other materials viewed through the website. The company post information and materials on the website, but it does not mean a waiver of any right for this information and materials.

Acceptance to the Terms and Conditions. The terms and conditions are communicated to the customer while the customer processes an order. Processing an order implies that the customer agrees to the Terms and Conditions of Sale.

Bookings on a specific preferred date. In case the customer would like to book an activity, tour or other services for a specific date which is nearby, the company cannot guarantee the customer’s reservation will be confirmed or will be done successfully as the resource quantities are limited.

In order for us to process the customer’s bookings fully and provide the customer with the activity on the preferred date, the company advises to place the order a minimum of 20 days before travel date. All bookings are subjected to availability. At the time of booking, the user should inform the company all the disabilities requiring special attention. The company will make all reasonable attempts to accommodate the needs of the disabled tour participant. In making a booking with Qieyi.mu, the user and all members of the user’s group are understood to have accepted our standard terms and conditions and in the case of group bookings (2 persons & more), that the person making the booking is responsible for making all members of his or her group aware of these conditions.

Payment system & Payment Methods. Qieyi.mu uses credit card and Alipay secure online payment system. Full payment is required to make a booking. With a valid credit card or a valid Alipay account, users can make online bookings. If the user do not want to use this payment system or do not have a credit card either an Alipay account, the user can contact the company directly to pay by bank transfer. Credit card and Alipay guarantee a high level protection when providing the user’s credit card number. Information regarding the latter is not accessible to third parties and is not communicated to the company and is only kept on the secure database of Credit Card. The order confirmed by the client will be considered valid only when approved by Credit Card institutions. If credit card institutions do not approve the transaction, the order will be automatically cancelled and the customer will be informed by email.

The company does not charge a service fee for processing credit card payments. Credit cards accepted are:

  • VISA
  • Mastercard

Charge-back customers who pull chargebacks *will* be reported to all major credit card institutions as a delinquent collection account.

Prices. Please refer to the product description for the price of each specific activity, tour or other services. Prices posted on Qieyi.mu include the price of providing the activity, the booking fees, credit cards processing fees, and local taxes. Unless detailed otherwise in the specification of the activity, these prices do not include guide, tips/gratuities to guide and drivers, and do not include any other service which is not detailed in the specification of the activity. The company and our suppliers reserve the right to change, amend or correct prices on website at any time before or after the customer have booked. Prices of activity, tours and services are subject to currency fluctuation. After the customer has booked, if the price of the ordered product changes in such a way, the customer is not going to pay more either get any refund. The prices for the activities on the website are in USD. It is also possible to pay for the activities in other currencies in these cases the price will be converted at the prevailing foreign exchange rate. Prices are different for Baby, child, and adult, a baby means less than 3years old; a child means less than 12 years old; and an adult price is applicable for the customer is more than 12 years old.

Products (activities, tours, other services). The product offers are valid within the limits of the availability. These products are offered and supplied to the customer through the suppliers and third parties. The photos, videos, illustrations and other promotional material used for the description of the activity are for the purpose of exemplifying products of the same type of activity. The company can’t guarantee that all the photos, videos, other materials posted and used on this website is exact as offered at the day of activity, tour, or other services. The only purpose of these photos, videos, is to give the customers a better understanding of the product of such category. The descriptions and illustrations on any of our literature and website are given as approximate descriptions only, and given in good faith. Please note that indicated times are according to normal road and normal weather conditions and may change if conditions are unfavorable. The company aims to be accurate on the details shown on the website but the company makes no commitment about the accuracy, reliability, completeness or timeliness of the material or about the results to be obtained from using the website and the materials.

Provision of Service. Due to circumstances beyond the company or the service provider’s control, there will be no compensation of any kind or responsibility, for example, when the company inform a change to the customer’s arrangements before or after departure, or the company or service provider cannot supply any more the customer’s arrangements in full or in part as agreed, or the customer suffer any loss, injury, accident, or damage of any personal property. A circumstance beyond the company’s control or the operators’ control means that it cannot be foreseen or avoided, even after taking all due care and includes but is not limited to war, terrorist activity, civil unrest, industrial disputes, natural or nuclear disaster, high level of water, technical or maintenance problems and bad weather conditions or forecasts. The company also reserves the right to cancel scheduled activities, tours, and other services at any time in the event of hazardous weather conditions or unforeseen operational problems. The company reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone at its sole discretion.

Complaints and problems. In the unlikely event that the customer have any reason to complain or in case the customer experience any problems with the activity, tour or other services, this must be brought to the attention of the relevant guide, driver or operator immediately so that action can be taken to remedy the problem. Unfortunately some problems cannot be dealt with quickly. If the customer remains dissatisfied, however, the customer must write to the company within 21 days of the day of the activity, while mentioning the customer’s booking no, name, and full details of the customer’s complaint. In cases the assistance the company provide to resolve the customer’s complaint is provided on behalf of operators in our capacity as agents only, the company will do our best in order to claim from the operator a full compensation on the customer’s behalf. Please note that if the customer fails to follow this complaints procedure, the company will not be able to claim the compensation, and accordingly the compensation of which the customer may otherwise have been entitled to may be affected or even lost as a result.

Damage to or theft of personal belongings. Qieyi.mu cannot be held liable if a client’s personal belongings are damaged or stolen during activities. Therefore, Qieyi.mu shall not reimburse the clients for his lost or damage. Every client has a personal responsibility to take due care and attention by keeping close watch on his or her personal belongings and to refrain from bringing valuables to the activity. Qieyi.mu shall accept no responsibility for the loss of, or damage to, personal property or valuables. Insurance to cover the loss of baggage and valuables is also highly recommended and is not in any means included in any of our booked activities, tours, or other services.

Liabilities. In cases Qieyi.mu acts as mediator (booking agent) for the relevant suppliers for any accommodation, activity, or any other services. Qieyi.mu has no liability of any kind whatsoever to the user or the user’s group, or dependants for any death, personal injury, loss, consequential loss or damage of any kind the user or user’s group, or user’s dependants may suffer unless caused by our own negligence. Qieyi.mu and suppliers also accepts no responsibility or liability whatsoever for any government restraints, acts of war and terrorism, weather conditions, or for any misadventure or casualty or any other force majeure or causes beyond our and the suppliers’ control. All issues referring to the activities or other services supplied to the customer are in the sole responsibility of the Service Provider/third party. The Service Provider/third party will be sole responsible for providing the activities with due care, making sure that the service provided will be high quality, while keeping high service standards. By using Qieyi.mu the user agree to indemnify Qieyi.mu and its employees against any liability, although the company may at our discretion agree to assist in the resolution of problems, and take our own action against any supplier/third party who is in breach of its obligations.

Customer’s behavior. As a customer of Qieyi.mu, the customers are responsible for themselves and their group members’ actions and the customers are expected to respect the environment in Mauritius and other people around them. All suppliers have every right to terminate, the stay or activity under threat of vandalism, violence or any other behavior deemed inappropriate by the supplier. The customers shall not behave in a way which may cause distress or annoyance to others or which may create the risk of danger or damage to property. In any of these cases mentioned hereof all insurances will be invalidated and the customer shall not be entitled to a refund, compensation or to cover any of customer’s expenses of any kind whatsoever. In case of damages or loss caused by the customer or any member of the group, the customer will be responsible and liable for full payment for these damages. In some activities, such as skydive, diving, quad, etc, Qieyi.mu or our suppliers will request the customer to fill in and sign a waiver. In the case the customer denied to sign on such paper, the supplier could take the decision to exclude the client from that specific activity. No compensation or refund will be given in such a case.

Tickets for Concerts, Performances, shows, festivals and special events. Tickets for concerts, performances, shows, festivals and special events in any case cannot be cancelled, re-scheduled, refund or other. The company cannot be held responsible to changes of venue or changes of cast made after the booking of the same.

Litigation. Any dispute or claim shall be treated with the best attention, as the person that takes the pains of submitting his claim is presumed to do so in good faith. In case of dispute or litigation, the customers and the company should look for an amicable solution of the issue. If a solution cannot be found, the dispute or litigation shall be settled by Mauritian legal system.

Applicable rights. This terms and Conditions are subject to the Mauritian legal system. Any litigation relating to the commercial relationship existing between Qieyi.mu and the client are submitted to the exclusive competence of the Mauritian jurisdictions.
